Peggy Lindop, 78, of Indianapolis, IN peacefully passed away July 30, 2015 after a long illness. She was born in Columbus, OH on July 23, 1937 to Michael and Mary Louise (McQuade) Terapak. She was the loving wife of Al H. Lindop for 56 years. She is survived by her husband Al and their daughters Teresa (Lindop) Brackney and Amy (Lindop) Rohman. She is also survived by five grandchildren.
Peggy grew up in Columbus, Ohio and graduated from Ohio State University in 1957. She was a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority at Ohio State University, and she served as chaplain. She and Al married in April 1959 and started their life together in Indianapolis. Peggy worked as a dental hygienist in private dental practices, as well as participating in research for Crest Toothpaste. But her real calling was as a wife, mother, and great friend to the many people whose lives she touched.
Peggy was well known for her love of God, her love of prayer, and her love of people. She was actively involved with her church, Nora Christian Fellowship, and sustained a powerful ministry as an intercessor. But her warm smile and great ability to give big hugs were just as important, and will be remembered by her many friends and family. She loved to welcome people to her kitchen table, where she shared encouragement and fun with folks of all ages and which earned her the nickname “Aunt Pegs”.
Preceded in death by siblings Bob and Betsy Terapak and survived by siblings Richard Terapak, Deborah Byers and Michele Doersam and their families in Columbus, Ohio.
Peggy is now celebrating at a much bigger table, with those loved ones who have gone ahead. She’s keeping a spot open for everyone, and looks forward to seeing you all there in the fullness of time.
A joyful celebration of Peggy’s life will be held Wednesday, August 5th at Nora Christian Fellowship, 465 E. 86th Street, Indianapolis at 10:00 am with early visitation at 9:00 am. There will also be a visitation on Tuesday, August 4th from 4 pm to 7 pm at Indiana Funeral Care and Crematory, Harry W. Moore Chapel, 8151 Allisonville Rd., Indianapolis IN.

Hello, Al….
Don’t know if you remember me from Broad Ripple H.S. I saw your wife’s obituary in today’s paper. Really glad to see she was a strong Christian. I came to know the Lord while in the Air Force.
May God’s grace and love sustain you during these days of grief.
